Wade Cummins

Wade has over two decades of experience in the construction industry, both in Australia and internationally. He joined BESIX Watpac in 2010 and was appointed General Manager for Queensland, Northern Territory and New Zealand in 2022. This followed more than two years as Northern Area Manager leading our North Queensland business. He brings a wealth of experience in delivering large-scale, complex projects to the company.

Wade fosters strong client relationships and is focused on understanding our clients’ requirements and desired outcomes for each project. His solutions-driven approach is supported by an exceptional understanding of the planning, delivery and contractual aspects of the industry which have been honed through the diverse projects he’s delivered. This includes the award-winning $405 million Herston Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Services facility, multiple projects for James Cook University and many other landmark projects throughout South East Queensland and North Queensland. Wade holds a Bachelor of Engineering – Civil (Hons).
