Marc McCready

Marc is BESIX Watpac’s Group Business Improvement Manager, responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives and driving productivity outcomes across the organisation. He oversees a diverse portfolio of programs with a strong focus on achieving operational excellence and change management to support the successful adoption of new systems and practices. He is passionate about fostering innovation and identifying emerging trends that create transformative benefits for the business.

In addition to this role, Marc acts as Chief Security Officer, ensuring compliance with the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP). This involves overseeing security governance, managing risk, and maintaining the highest standards of protective security for sensitive projects.

With more than thirteen years at BESIX Watpac, Marc previously served as Chief Information Officer, where he kept the company’s IT environment modern and secure. Before joining BESIX Watpac, Marc worked as a consultant on major merger and acquisition projects involving complex business integrations.
