Since joining the business 20 years ago, Al has experienced a highly rewarding career journey at BESIX Watpac – progressing from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager, Construction Manager, State Manager for South Australia and since 2023, his current role as General Manager Victoria & South Australia.

Al’s reputation is one of leadership and strategic thinking, coupled with his ability to foster collaboration and inspire others. His passion for driving results, and commitment to quality are pivotal for delivering the complex, high-profile projects BESIX Watpac is renowned for, including Defence, Data Centres, Airports and Hospitals.

A member of BESIX Watpac’s Group Leadership Team, Al is also an active member of the Property Council of Australia’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee in South Australia and an active advocate for the National Association of Women in Construction, exemplifying his commitment to fostering high-performing, inclusive and equitable workplaces.
