A container terminal giant in the Baltic Sea

BESIX in partnership with NDI delivered the new T2 terminal as well as an extension of the existing T1 terminal. The new T2 terminal includes a 656-metre mooring quay with a draft of 17 metres. This project also provided 25 hectares of platforms, storage depots, technical installations and workshops. A strict deadline was set by the client and this was met through BESIX's meticulous schedule that took into account the complex design process, soil pre-remediation and the harsh Polish winter.
