#Overview
The 342 metre tall commercial tower posed unprecedented design challenges due to its asymmetrical design. This was overcome by using high-strength concrete, which provided the required stiffness and negating the need for a cumbersome steel structure. The weight of the steel structure was reduced by using circular tubes. Precise engineering techniques were applied to safely and effectively lift the prefabricated steel roof into place. A thorough design review identified opportunities to reduce costs by 20 percent.
