New Farm crowning jewel The Oxlade achieves completion
Exclusive new waterfront residential development in Brisbane built by BESIX Watpac welcomes residents.
Works have recently wrapped up on The Oxlade with residents moving into the new luxury residential development in Brisbane’s New Farm delivered by BESIX Watpac for long-term client, Seymour Group.
Exclusively positioned at the highly sought-after waterfront location, the six-storey plus three-level basement development features 30 apartments that have been individually designed to maximise views of the river and parklands.
BESIX Watpac’s CEO Mark Baker said the development exemplifies the company’s commitment to building the best projects.
“BESIX Watpac has built a reputation for quality over more than 40 years and the high standard of construction on The Oxlade perfectly complements the premium nature of this development,” Mr Baker said.
“Our team's dedication to quality is truly commendable, and The Oxlade stands as a testament to our expertise and craftsmanship."
BESIX Watpac’s General Manager QLD, NT & NZ Wade Cummins said the team approached the project with a solutions-focused lens taking into consideration the project’s unique positioning along the river.
“Our team tackled a number of challenges with ingenuity, including limited site access as well as the construction of a three-level basement below the river level—a feat rarely seen in this area,” Mr Cummins said.
“It’s been a huge effort on behalf of the team to deliver this project and the outcome speaks to their unwavering focus on delivering a premium product for Seymour Group.”
The Oxlade joins an impressive roster of high-quality projects that BESIX Watpac has delivered throughout Queensland across all sectors including health and sciences, stadiums and venues, complex infrastructure, industrial and secure facilities.
