New appointment for strategic growth
BESIX Watpac is pleased to announce the internal appointment of Marc McCready to the new position of Group Strategy and Innovation Manager.

CEO Mark Baker said the internal appointment of Marc McCready to Group Strategy and Innovation Manager will support BESIX Watpac’s approach to remain flexible, pragmatic, and adaptable to market conditions.
Marc’s priorities will be to work with the Group Leadership Team and broader business to implement BESIX Watpac’s strategic action plan with a particular focus on operational excellence and digital initiatives.
“Marc has been with BESIX Watpac for almost 12 years and his experience will ensure we are capturing and scaling innovation across our organisation to drive future success,” CEO Mark Baker said.
“His new position also supports the delivery of our strategy and mission: to be a quality contractor in Australia and New Zealand, chosen by clients to partner with them to safely deliver complex projects, bringing innovative solutions to add value.”
Marc brings a wealth of experience to his new role having previously served as the Chief Information Officer, a role he was appointed to following his leadership on successful improvement projects to stabilise and modernise BESIX Watpac’s IT environment. Prior to this, Marc worked in strategy roles and on several complex innovation projects at large global corporations.
