Array approaches final stages of construction
A new, PCA A-grade office development at One Eden Park Drive is a step closer to completion, with the project “topping out” Thursday, 26 May 2022.

Array, by Kamirice is a commercial office building located in Macquarie Park’s central employment hub, comprising of more than 10,000 m² of net lettable area over seven levels. Upon completion it is aiming to achieve a 5-Star Green Star Rating, 5-Star NABERS Rating and WELL Platinum Certification.
BESIX Watpac began construction on the speculative $90 million boutique development in February 2021 and has since poured over 8,300m3 of concrete and worked more than 200,000 hours to construct the main framework of the building, which reaches its final height this month.

BESIX Watpac General Manger Peter Furlong said the “Top Out Ceremony” held on Thursday, 26th May 2022, marked an important milestone in the project which was due to be completed in October.
“There is no question the Architectus-designed Array, will be a building that sets a new benchmark in the Macquarie Park Area.” Mr Furlong said.
“We are delighted to be delivering this project for Kamirice, which has a track record of owning high-quality, sustainable commercial office assets.”
A December report from the Property Council of Australia shows Macquarie Park’s tightly held commercial market enjoys one of the lowest non-CBD vacancy rates in the country - less than 10% - matched only by East Melbourne, in Victoria.
Kamirice Managing Director Mark Ross said the company had invested in its first new development of A-grade office stock on the back of this market strength, and leasing agents CBRE and Colliers International had already received strong interest from prospective tenants.
“Array is unique in terms of its location and amenity. It has been designed to respond to the needs of the modern office occupier in the post-COVID environment by including two rooftop terraces, oversized lifts, an additional lift, and additional outside air provision, while retaining the flexibility to accommodate high-density offices if required.” Mr Ross said.
“With the building now out of the ground and well on its way to completion, tenants can start to really experience the benefits of the key design features of the building.”
