The station in Pont-sur-Sambre is Siemens’ first power station in France and includes a 400 MW combined gas-steam cycle (CCGT) electricity generating station. BESIX was in charge of the earthmoving, civil and deep foundation works, which required an extraordinarily high level of environmental integration in compliance with industry standard architectural criteria.
