The project will also provide opportunities for local businesses to be involved where possible.
- Construction of a six-storey Acute Services Building, three-storey Ambulatory Care Building and two-storey Mental Health Building.
- Car park and improved public transport links.
- Approximately 800 construction jobs created, benefiting the local economy.
- Provision for a future rooftop helipad to enable rapid air transport for critically ill patients to receive timely and specialised care.
