BESIX has delivered multiple upgrades to Brussels International Airport since the early 1990's. This includes a new seven-storey terminal, the three-level Piers A and B that accommodate the gates, and other infrastructure. BESIX also built a 300-metre rail tunnel under the road infrastructure and a 400-metre tunnel beneath the runways. Most recently, BESIX has been building a new logistics and trans-shipment platform including construction of warehouse with a total area of 50,000 square metres and 10,500 square metres of office space. A total of 88 loading and unloading bays plus a covered 338 vehicle car park is also being delivered.
