The Woolworths Sydney Chilled and Fresh Distribution Centre (SCFDC) in Western Sydney has entered its final year of construction on schedule.

Here’s a snapshot of the major progress our team has made so far:

  • 47,000m³ of concrete poured
  • More than 7,000 solar panels installed
  • 8.6 acres of roofing sheets laid
  • 2,240 workers inducted on site
  • 420m of barriers installed

The project features chilled and fresh warehousing across two floors and, once complete, will be the largest temperature-controlled distribution centre in the Southern Hemisphere.
