#Overview
This highly prized and geotechnically complex project required extensive collaboration between our team and the Gold Coast City Council to develop a successful remediation strategy to address highly contaminated soil. The site was preloaded with clean soil and wick drains were installed to drain acid sulphate sub-soil from the landfill. The project received 14 national, state and regional awards, including a High Commendation from Safe Work Australia for our leadership in safety. This included our highly collaborative approach with Workplace Health and Safety to address the challenge of installing the innovative and large-scale membrane-vaulted roof.
