A place to stay for families with seriously ill children

The new Ronald McDonald House in South Brisbane is the largest in the southern hemisphere. Located opposite the Queensland Children's Hospital, it provides a welcome place to stay for the families of seriously ill children. We delivered a 12-level tower featuring 112 accommodation rooms, communal spaces including lounges, kitchen and dining facilities, workspaces, indoor and outdoor recreation areas, a rooftop function area and 266 square metres of ground level retail. Construction also included associated landscaping, vehicle access facilities and on-site parking for up to 19 cars. The new facility provides much needed additional accommodation to the existing house located near the Mater Private Hospital.
