Setting a new inner-city living benchmark

The development features 300 apartments and townhouses across four boutique towers, The Carlyle, The Donaldson, The Ajax and The Koerstz – named after Australia’s famous wool presses – while creating a new benchmark for Brisbane living. These are brought together by an expansive half-acre of subtropical landscaped gardens and amenities, including a 25-metre lap pool and spa, sauna, gymnasium, alfresco dining areas, fire pit, outdoor cinema, recreational lawns and exercise spaces that surround the buildings. The ground conditions below the buildings includes marine mud, clay and a high water table. BESIX Watpac constructed a basement diaphragm wall as opposed to other piling options as this presented the best long-term solutions to overcome these challenging conditions.
