Preparing Paris for 2024 Olympics

BESIX is delivering one of the largest stations on the Grand Paris Express Network that will cover a total area of 34,000 square metres over nine levels. It is being developed to serve the 2024 Paris Olympics and will be able to handle 250,000 passengers a day. Works will include delivering the main glass facades as well as construction of four separate underground areas, service infrastructure for passenger safety, ventilation and smoke extraction out of the tunnels, and a system to enable the direction of trains to be reversed.
