Sustainable and socially conscious

Featuring an innovative and sustainable cross laminated timber design, the new Civic Precinct brings together staff from seven Geelong offices to drive collaboration, reduce costs, and future-proof the city’s workplace needs. The 6-storey building includes active public spaces, co-working spaces, retail and food tenancies, and end-of-trip facilities. Social investment was a major component of this development, including engagement with G21 Regional Opportunities for Work (GROW) to ensure disadvantaged areas benefit from procurement and local employment opportunities were created. The partnership also committed to meaningful ongoing engagement with local First Nations communities.
