Delivering valuable health infrastructure to regional NSW
Port Macquarie Base Hospital Expansion
#Overview
Rising four storeys and with a floor space of approximately 12,000 square metres, The Port Macquarie Base Hospital Expansion was delivered as part of federal and state government plans to improve the healthcare services for regional New South Wales. The expansion provided an additional 70 overnight acute inpatient beds, a larger emergency department, additional operating theatres, new critical care unit and cardiac catheterisation laboratory. Access to clinical and aged care services has been substantially improved and future-proofed for project growth in the region. Close collaboration with hospital management ensured minimal disruption to operations throughout construction.
