#Delivery

The project delivered highly specialised facilities, including weapon assembly rooms designed for the safe handling, inspection, maintenance, and testing of guided weapons. It features four reinforced concrete test cells and administration areas to accommodate 30 personnel, supported by civil works and essential services. The scope also included landscaping, infrastructure, and integration of communications and safety systems with existing facilities, all on a greenfield site. A key innovation was the collaboration between BESIX Watpac and local firm Nepean Engineering and Innovation, which developed a bespoke solution for heavily reinforced blast doors and frames - bringing an element previously sourced exclusively from Europe onto Australian shores.
