BESIX Watpac welcomes NRL legend Andrew Johns for Project Partner Event
Celebrating shared achievements and looking ahead to new opportunities.

Last week, our CEO Mark Baker and General Manager NSW and ACT Giovanni Polimeni shared insights into BESIX Watpac’s national construction outlook, along with the broader global activity of the BESIX Group as part of our NSW Project Partner Event.
The event brought together local subcontractors and delivery partners, offering an opportunity to strengthen relationships while sharing an overview of current and upcoming opportunities across NSW and the ACT.
A highlight of the afternoon was a fireside chat featuring NRL legend Andrew “Joey” Johns, who joined BESIX Watpac Commercial Manager Paul Young for an engaging discussion blending humour with insight. Highlighting the importance of teamwork, Johns noted that success is achieved when every individual clearly understands their role and contribution.
Overall, the event reinforced BESIX Watpac’s commitment to collaboration, shared success, and building strong partnerships that will support the delivery of projects across NSW and the ACT into the future.
